Nick

Nick 3002A

Ondrej, or Nick as he prefers to be called, born 07/91, is an adventurous young Caucasian teen. He loves the outdoors where he enjoys riding his bike and jumping on the trampoline. Nick also has a passion for music. He plays the piano and the violin. Nick has a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Enrolled in regular education, he is described as an intelligent  and hard working student with a positive attitude. Nick enjoys all his subjects, particularly math. At times, he struggles to focus on his school work. Medication is helping. Due to significant loss in his young life, Nick often feels a sense of loneliness and abandonment. Through therapy, he is gaining a better understanding of his emotions. Nick needs a loving, patient and committed family, one who will provide him with a stable home filled with understanding, security and structure. He would also benefit from the presence of a strong male role model.

Diana

Diana 3006A

Diana, born 01/96, is a bubbly and energetic Bi-racial child.She enjoys gymnastics, camping, gardening and attending church. Diana also likes to watch television and listen to music. Her appearance is very important to her. Diana loves to dress up and look pretty. She is a considerate child and enjoys helping with chores around the house. At times, Diana exhibits trying behaviors. She is enrolled in special education classes, on a part-time basis, in order to address this issue. Medication combined with clear rules and consequences have greatly benefited Diana. Her ideal family is not only experienced in parenting children but also possess the patience, compassion and understanding necessary to meet her needs.

Markoe 3017R

Markoe, born 12/93, is an outgoing African-American child with a wonderful sense of humor. He is very considerate and enjoys helping others. Markoe’s favorite activities include playing sports, watching television, listening to music and talking on the phone. He also enjoys putting model cars together. Markoe is enrolled in special education classes for assistance with his emotional and educational needs. He is described as a “wonderful student who is a joy to be around.” At times, Markoe has difficulty focusing on his school work. Although medication helps, he will require assistance to ensure that his academic needs are met. Markoe is still dealing with issues surrounding his early life experiences. Continued counseling assists him in understanding his emotions. A loving, committed and patient family is needed, one who will provide Markoe with a stable home filled with structure, understanding and individualized attention. He would also benefit from the presence of a male role model. Continued contact with a sibling being planned for separately is necessary.
